Ingredients:
For the Ribs:
- 2 racks of baby back ribs (about 3-4 pounds)
- Salt and black pepper (to taste)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
For the Honey Garlic Sauce:
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated (optional)
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil (optional, for extra flavor)
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional for some heat)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (to thicken sauce)
- 2 tbsp water
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Ribs:
- Preheat your oven toย 300ยฐF (150ยฐC).
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs if itโs still attached. This can be done by loosening it with a knife and pulling it off.
- Pat the ribs dry with paper towels and rub them with a bit of olive oil.
- Season generously with salt and pepper, or you can use your favorite dry rub.
2. Bake the Ribs:
- Place the ribs on a baking sheet, lining it with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easier cleanup.
- Cover the ribs loosely with foil and bake them in the preheated oven forย 2.5 to 3 hours, or until they are tender and easily pull apart when tested with a fork.
