Nutella rolls are a delight for those who really have a sweet tooth, made with a soft dough and a rich Nutella filling. Here is a recipe for making this divine dessert:
Ingredients:
For the dough:
250 g flour
125 ml milk
50 g butter (melted)
25 g sugar
1 egg
1 packet (7 g) dry yeast
1 pinch of salt
For the filling:
approx. 200 g Nutella
For the topping (optional):
Icing sugar
Preparation:
Preparing the dough:
Dissolve the sugar and yeast in the warm milk.
Sift the flour into a bowl and add the salt.
Add the egg, melted butter and fermented milk.
Knead an elastic dough.
Cover and leave to rise in a warm place for approx. 1 hour until doubled in size.
Shaping the roll:
Roll out the leavened dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
Spread with Nutella.
Starting with the larger side, roll up like a bagel.
Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
