Hydrogen Peroxide . If mold has accumulated in the joints, remove it with a solution of 1 part hydrogen peroxide and 1 part water in a spray bottle. Leave for 45 minutes, then remove with a clean sponge.
Citric Acid . This is used to lighten leather, and is also useful for cleaning dirty grout. This acid kills mold and bacteria, in addition to lightening. Pair with baking soda.
Borax . It has an action similar to that of bicarbonate, which cleans, disinfects and eliminates bad odors. Use it in the same way as bicarbonate.
Liquid Castile Soap . This natural soap does not contain any chemicals. Its liquid version, combined with water and baking soda, is the ideal solution for disinfecting, cleaning and clarifying grout.
