Ingredients (Quantities) :
For the crust:
Graham cracker crumbs : 1 ½ cups
Granulated sugar : 2 tablespoons
Unsalted butter : ½ cup, melted
For the cheesecake filling:
Cream Cheese : 3 packages (8 oz each), softened
Granulated sugar : 1 cup
Sour cream : ½ cup
Heavy cream : ½ cup
Vanilla extract : 1 teaspoon
Orange zest : 2 tablespoons (from about 2 large oranges)
Fresh orange juice : ¼ cup
Eggs : 3 large
Orange food coloring : a few drops (optional for color)

For the whipped cream filling:
Heavy whipping cream : 1 cup
Powdered sugar : 2 tablespoons
Vanilla extract : ½ teaspoon
Orange slices or orange zest for garnish (optional)
Optional ingredients :
White chocolate chips : ¼ cup, melted and drizzled on top for an extra touch of sweetness
Orange extract : ¼ teaspoon, for a more intense orange flavor
Instructions :
1. Prepare the crust :
Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar and melted butter until well combined. Firmly press mixture into bottom of pan.
Bake for 10 minutes, then leave to cool while you prepare the filling.
2. Prepare the cheesecake filling :
In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add sugar, sour cream, heavy cream and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
Add the orange zest and juice. Add a few drops of orange food coloring for color if desired.
Add the eggs one at a time, whisking until well combined. Do not overmix or the cheesecake will crack.
