Ingredients:
For the Puff Pastry Rolls:
700g puff pastry, thawed if frozen
60g tomato sauce
400g sausages (about 6-8 sausages)
100g cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite), grated
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

For the Mustard Butter Sauce:
150g soft butter
15g scallions, finely chopped
6g garlic, minced
20g mustard (Dijon or yellow)
20g mustard seeds
Directions:

Step 1: Prepare the Puff Pastry Rolls
Preheat the oven:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Prepare the puff pastry:
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry to about 1/4-inch thickness.
Cut the puff pastry into rectangles large enough to wrap each sausage.
Assemble the rolls:
Spread 60g tomato sauce evenly over each piece of puff pastry.
Place one sausage on each piece of puff pastry.
Sprinkle grated cheese over the sausage.
Roll the puff pastry around the sausage, sealing the edges.
Brush with egg wash:
Place the rolls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Brush the tops of the rolls with beaten egg to ensure a golden color when baked.
Bake the rolls:
Bake in the preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 25 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden and crispy.
Step 2: Prepare the Mustard Butter Sauce
Combine ingredients:
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt 150g soft butter.
Add 15g chopped scallions and 6g minced garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
Stir in 20g mustard and 20g mustard seeds. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
Serve the sauce:
Transfer the sauce to a small serving bowl and set aside for dipping.
