Aflatoon Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup rice flour
- 1/2 cup ghee (clarified butter)
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup cashews, chopped
- 1/4 cup almonds, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 1 tablespoon rose water (optional, for aroma)
- A pinch of saffron threads (optional, for color and flavor)
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Saffron Milk (Optional):
- If you’re using saffron, warm up 2 tablespoons of milk and soak the saffron threads in it for about 10 minutes to release the color and flavor.
2. Roast Rice Flour:
- In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons of ghee over medium heat. Add the rice flour and roast it gently, stirring continuously. This will take about 4-5 minutes until the rice flour turns a light golden color and releases a pleasant aroma.
