Ingredients
⅔ lb. ground beef
4 slices of thick-cut bread
2 slices American cheese
Half an onion, sliced thin
1 tsp. olive oil
4 slices of bacon
4 large eggs
½ cup milk
½ cup heavy whipping cream
½ tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
Big Mac sauce (optional)
Additional salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Beef and Bacon
In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Add the ground beef to the skillet and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned and cooked through. Set aside.
In a separate skillet, cook the bacon slices over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease. Set aside.
Step 2: Sauté the Onion
In the same skillet where you cooked the bacon, add the thinly sliced onion. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the onions are soft and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Set aside.
Step 3: Prepare the Egg Mixture
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy whipping cream, garlic powder, 1 tsp salt, and 1 tsp pepper until well combined.
Step 4: Assemble the French Toast
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Take two slices of thick-cut bread and place a slice of American cheese on each.
Top each slice with the cooked ground beef, caramelized onions, and 2 slices of bacon.
Place the remaining slices of bread on top to form a sandwich.
Step 5: Dip and Cook the French Toast
Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, ensuring that both sides are well-coated.
Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or cooking spray.
Cook the dipped sandwiches on the skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
Step 6: Bake (Optional)
If the bread is not fully cooked through, transfer the French toast sandwiches to a baking sheet and finish cooking them in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes.
Step 7: Serve
