Homemade Butterfinger Bars Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups crispy rice cereal (or corn flakes, crushed)
- 2 cups milk chocolate chips (or semi-sweet chocolate chips)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (optional, for smooth melting)
Instructions:
1. Make the Peanut Butter Mixture:
- In a medium saucepan, combine the corn syrup, sugar, and butter. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture starts to bubble.
