How to Make No-Bake Chocolate Oat Bars:
Grease a square pan that measures 9 by 9 inches.
Butter is melted in a large pot over medium heat. Mix the vanilla extract and brown sugar together. Add the oats to the mixture. Cook for a few minutes on low heat until all the ingredients are mixed well. Press down on the bottom of the pan and put in half of the mixture. Save the other half to use as a topping.
Meanwhile, heat the peanut butter and chocolate chips together in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently until smooth. Pour the chocolate mixture over the crust in the pan, then use a knife or the back of a spoon to spread it evenly.
Once the chocolate layer is covered, gently press the rest of the oat mixture onto it. Put in the fridge for two to three hours or overnight, with a cover. Before cutting into pieces, allow them to reach room temperature and cool down.
