Ingredients:
For the Boil:
- 2 pounds shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 1-2 pounds crab legs (king crab or snow crab)
- 1-2 pounds mussels or clams
- 1-2 pounds baby potatoes (halved)
- 3-4 ears of corn (cut into halves or thirds)
- 1-2 smoked sausages (cut into rounds, optional)
- 4-6 cups water (enough to cover the ingredients in a large pot)
- 1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning (or your preferred seafood seasoning)
- 1 lemon (cut into wedges)
- 2-3 garlic cloves (smashed)
- Salt, to taste
For the Creamy Sauce:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup cream cheese (softened)
- 3-4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning (or to taste)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
- Optional: Red pepper flakes (for spice)
- Optional: Grated Parmesan (for extra richness)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Boil:
- Boil the Potatoes & Corn: In a large pot, bring the water to a boil and add the Old Bay seasoning, smashed garlic, and salt. Add the baby potatoes and corn to the pot. Boil for about 10-12 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the corn is cooked.
- Add the Sausage (Optional): If using sausage, add the sausage rounds to the pot and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes.
