Here’s a recipe for a creamy white chocolate mousse that’s indulgent, velvety, and perfect for pairing with cakes, fruits, or enjoying on its own!
Ingredients:
- 200g (7 oz) white chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream, chilled
- 1/2 cup (120ml) milk (whole milk works best)
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar (optional, depending on your sweetness preference)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp gelatin powder (or agar-agar for a vegetarian version)
- 3 tbsp warm water
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Gelatin:
- In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the warm water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to bloom (absorb water and swell).
- After 5 minutes, gently heat the gelatin in the microwave for 10–15 seconds or over a double boiler to dissolve it completely. Set it aside to cool slightly.
