Coat the chicken:
- Dredge each chicken strip in the flour mixture, making sure it’s evenly coated.
- Dip the coated chicken strip into the beaten eggs, then roll it in the breadcrumbs, pressing lightly to adhere the crumbs.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat (about 350°F or 175°C).
- Fry the chicken strips in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C) when fully cooked.
- Transfer the cooked chicken strips to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Serve your crispy chicken strips with dipping sauces like honey mustard, BBQ sauce, or ranch dressing. Enjoy!
Tips:
- Air-fry option: For a healthier version, you can cook the chicken strips in an air fryer. Spray the strips with a little oil and cook at 400°F (200°C) for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Add seasonings: Feel free to add your favorite spices or herbs to the flour mixture for a personalized twist. Chili powder, cayenne, or dried herbs like thyme or oregano can add extra flavor.
