1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon dried thyme

Preheat the Oven:

Prepare the Potatoes:
Wash and peel the potatoes. Using a sharp knife or mandoline slicer, thinly slice the potatoes into even rounds. Set aside.
Cook the Ground Beef:
