Ingredients:
For the Hash Brown Crust:
4 cups frozen hash browns, thawed
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup butter, melted
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Quiche Filling:
1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 large eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the Hash Brown Crust:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the thawed hash browns, melted butter, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper.
Firmly press the mixture into the bottom and sides of a greased pie dish or quiche pan.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy. Remove from the oven and let it cool.
Prepare the Quiche Filling:
In another mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Gently fold in the chopped spinach and the remaining 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
Assemble the Quiche:
Pour the egg mixture into the baked hash brown crust, ensuring it’s evenly distributed.
Bake:
Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake the quiche for 30–35 minutes, or until the filling is set and lightly golden on top.
Cool and Serve:
Allow the quiche to cool for a few minutes before slicing.
Serve warm and enjoy your delicious creation!
