80 g butter
80 g sugar
A pinch of salt
150 g honey
1 tsp baking soda
2 medium eggs

1 kg sour cream (or whipped cream, for a lighter texture)
120 g icing sugar (adjust to taste)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Steps to Make Honey Layer Cake with Creamy Vanilla Filling
Prepare the Dough:
In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter with sugar, salt, and honey, stirring until smooth. Add the baking soda and continue stirring; the mixture will become frothy and lighter in color.
Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly.
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, then add them gradually to the cooled honey mixture, stirring constantly to prevent the eggs from cooking.
Gradually add the flour, stirring until a soft dough forms. The dough should be firm but slightly sticky. Divide the dough into 6-8 equal portions.
