Depending on the stain you have in front of you, you can use one of the following tricks !
Vinegar
Vinegar is known for its cleaning and bacteria-removing properties, especially on fabrics, and it is no coincidence that it is used a lot in the washing machine.
Mix one part white vinegar and two parts water in a spray bottle; Gently spray this solution onto the stain, then dab with a clean cloth.
Once the stain is gone, always rinse with a wrung out damp cloth and let dry in a ventilated area.
Lemon juice
The most versatile and famous citrus fruit in the world is a natural whitening agent that can help eliminate stains, clean your non-removable sofa, giving it a fresh scent. What am I talking about? Lemon juice of course !
All you have to do to use it is mix the juice of 1 fresh lemon with an equal amount of water ; then apply this solution on the stains.
Leave it to act for a few minutes and dab with a damp cloth, little by little you will see that the stain will go away and all you have to do is let it dry thoroughly!
Hydrogen peroxide
If your sofa is white or very light, you will surely have wondered what is best to use to deal with stains.
Well, know that hydrogen peroxide is a very effective product for removing difficult stains such as blood or wine stains. Apply a little hydrogen peroxide to the fabric , gently pass a microfiber cloth over the stain and rinse with a damp cloth.
Be careful not to overdo the amount of hydrogen peroxide to avoid discoloration.
Marseille soap
Marseille soap certainly couldn’t be missing from our tricks ! In fact, we are talking about a delicate but effective natural detergent for cleaning fabrics.
Prepare a solution of warm water and Marseille soap and apply it to the stains with a clean cloth. Rub gently and rinse with a damp cloth. This method is ideal for grease stains or other stubborn stains.
To perfume
Once you’re done cleaning, you can give your sofa a fresh, inviting scent .
Prepare a solution of water and a few drops of your favorite essential oil . Gently spray this solution on the sofa and let it dry. Essential oils such as lavender, lemon or eucalyptus can give your sofa a long-lasting scent.
