Rice pudding in slow cooker

  • 130g pudding rice
  • 70g granulated sugar
  • 700ml full fat milk
  • 140g clotted cream
  • Nutmeg to sprinkle(optional or can use cinnamon)

instructions:

  1. Pour milk and clotted cream into saucepan and heat until the clotted cream has all dissolved, remove from heat and stir in sugar
  2. Place pudding rice into slow cooker and then pour the milk mixture on top.
  3. Give it a good stir and sprinkle on the nutmeg.
  4. Put on high for 2-3 hours stirring once/twice.
  5. Add more milk if needed.
  6. I had mine on for too long so had to add extra milk but it still tastes good. I’ve got 4 really big portions out of this.
