Smothered Chicken with Creamed Spinach, Bacon, and Mushrooms
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Cook the Bacon:In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy.
Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside, leaving the bacon grease in the skillet.
