Surf and Turf Filet Mignon with Lobster Tails

Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear the filet mignon for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they develop a golden-brown crust.

Remove the steaks from the skillet and set them aside.

4. Prepare the Lobster Tails:

Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise down the middle. Gently pull the meat upward, laying it on top of the shell.

Season the lobster meat with salt and pepper.

5. Make Garlic Butter:

In the same skillet used for the steaks, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

6. Combine and Roast:

Return the seared steaks to the skillet. Arrange the prepared lobster tails beside them.
