These ingredients are particularly good for removing yellow stains from your toilet. To do this, you must sprinkle 1 tablespoon of salt on each stain and then cover it all with the juice of 1 or 2 lemons. Then, let it act until you see the solution dry out, then rub it hard. This solution will also be perfect as a degreaser and will be very useful against limescale.

  • Lemon and vinegar
    In this case, you just have to fill a spray bottle with 3/4 vinegar and 1/4 lemon juice, obviously after removing the seeds and filtering well. After that, all you have to do is spray the mixture created on the yellow stripes and wait no less than 2 hours. After the indicated time, you can go scrubbing in order to have an impeccable result.
  • Citric acid
    To use these products, you must make a mixture containing 1 liter of water and 150 to 200 gr of citric acid. Stir well so that the product dissolves well, then transfer it to a spray bottle. After that, all you have to do is go and spray the product on the yellow stains of the toilet. Let it sit for at least 2 hours. At the end of the indicated hours, you will only have to pull the drain and the result will be crazy.
  • Caustic soda for stubborn clogging (use with caution)
    In a plastic bucket, pour a liter of cold water and 3 cups of caustic soda.
    Mix this solution with a wooden spoon until it begins to sizzle and heat.
    Pour into the toilet and let it sit for 30 or 60 minutes, depending on the incrustations.
    Caustic soda does not foam, so it is easy to rinse, it will also allow you to thoroughly clean sanitary appliances and sinks. Gloves and protective glasses are recommended when using this substance.
