Ingredients:
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie chicken works great)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon melted butter (for brushing)
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley or chives, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
2. Prepare the filling:
In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped onion (if using), garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is creamy.
