Hard-boiled egg fritters are a great idea for a starter or a light snack. Here is a simple recipe to prepare them:
Ingredients:
6 hard-boiled eggs
50g flour
50g breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon grated cheese (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil for frying
Method:
Peel the hard-boiled eggs and cut them in half lengthwise.
In a bowl, mix together the flour, breadcrumbs, grated cheese (if using), salt and pepper.
Coat the hard-boiled egg halves in the flour and breadcrumb mixture, making sure to coat them evenly on all sides.
Heat plenty of oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
Once the oil is hot, fry the breaded hard-boiled eggs until golden and crispy, turning them gently to ensure even cooking.
Once ready, transfer the hard boiled egg fritters to a plate lined with absorbent paper to remove excess oil.
Serve the hard boiled egg fritters hot, perhaps accompanied by a sauce of your choice or a simple flavoured mayonnaise.
These hard boiled egg fritters are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and will be a guaranteed hit with the whole family!
