The sofa is the welcoming heart of many homes and represents the fulcrum of rest, relaxation, but also of convivial moments with friends and family.
Given the continuous and daily use that is made and due to some small bad habits, it may happen that time brings unwanted stains and odors.
As long as you can remove the cover, cleaning the sofa is not difficult, but what do you do when it is not removable?
Well, it’s not difficult! Today I will tell you what are the techniques for cleaning a non-removable sofa with natural remedies and without making too much effort!
Start with Bicarbonate
When you need to clean a fabric without getting it too wet, all that remains is to start with sodium bicarbonate , your first ally in cleaning the sofa.
Start by generously spreading baking soda on the surface of the sofa and leave it to act for at least 40-50 minutes. The baking soda will absorb unpleasant odors and help break down stains.
After waiting, wipe with a damp microfibre cloth and rub the areas with the stains, then use a vacuum cleaner with a suitable attachment to remove the baking soda, leaving your sofa fresher and free of unpleasant odors.
And I’ll tell you more! To avoid wasting the baking soda when you spread it, you can use a strainer , as if you were putting icing sugar on a cake!
This method also frees the sofa from mites, as I show you in this dedicated video:
