Strawberry Cheesecake Bars Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Crust:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 10 graham crackers, crushed)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the Cheesecake Filling:
- 16 oz (2 packages) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup sour cream (optional, for extra creaminess)
For the Strawberry Topping:
- 1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional, to brighten the flavor)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until well combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×9-inch baking dish (or a similar size pan). Press it down evenly to form a compact crust.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then remove it from the oven and let it cool while you prepare the cheesecake filling.
2. Make the Cheesecake Filling:
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
